Dr. Alex Lyttle always knew he wanted to work with children… he just didn’t know exactly how. Before he became a Pediatric Allergist, he worked as a camp counsellor and volunteered as a Big Brother of Canada. He initially studied business in university before deciding it wasn’t for him and switching into medical sciences. He attended medical school at The University of Western Ontario before moving to Calgary for his pediatric residency at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. He completed his subspecialty training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology in Vancouver, BC before moving back to Calgary with his wife and four children. He now works at the Arid Mountain Allergy Clinic in Calgary.
